IN TIMES OF
WAR
In times of
war it is necessary to love, to love without reason, that is how this woman
decided to love, wanted to feel the happiness of possessing a love, in that
small city so far and isolated their chances were nil, needed to leave to love.
It was
difficult times, he needed to love unconditionally, without borders or
limitations, he would seek his love everywhere. He walked for miles and miles
and faced human suffering, saw things he could never have dreamed of, but they
were times of war and soon everything It would pass, people would smile again,
as soon as she knew, she would find the right person.
She began
to feel discouraged in the midst of chaos, she saw the hunger, the pain, the
loss, she heard the cries, she cried and prayed, but for whom would she pray?
He faced the torments of the cold and the rain, kept walking, helped here and
there, cared for the wounded and the sick, helped distribute food to those who
wept in despair, felt regret. At no time had he forgotten that he had left in
search of his love At every stop, every night of rest she hoped she would find
him, but time passed, the days were fast, she had already gone so far and still
looked, perhaps he did not exist, perhaps she had no one at her destination,
perhaps Died alone.
He devoted
himself to so many, offered his joy in the midst of the fire, distributed water
and comfort, moved with bodies thrown on the roads, revolted with the brutality
of the armies, but still hoped.Long time passed, many sorrows she knew, many
lessons She learned but had not found her love. She became a volunteer at
makeshift hospitals, cleaned wounds and felt the strong smell of blood, the
force of suffering was greater than love, she understood it now.
Her love
had not crossed her path, she was old and tired, she had given up the search at
last, her love had never existed. Shortly afterwards she died, with no relatives
to watch over her, buried among so many others, some herself helping to open
the door. She would never need to walk, her love would never come, in her
search she did not realize that she distributed and received more love than she
could dream of.
